Having this error while trying to apply change on TCP/IP setting with MSSQL Server 2012?
WMI Provider Error

This probably happened after you’ve modified a value in the TCP/IP Properties window.
1. Just click cancel, close all the MSSQL related windows.
2. Open the MSSQL configuration manager again and go back to the TCP/IP properties again.
3. Do the change you were about to do before and click on Apply again.
It should work now, you may now restart the MSSQL Server service to make it effective.
